The DNHS “Celebrate the Knight” event is the first of many 50th Anniversary Celebrations for Del Norte High School. The event is from 5-9 pm June 27th, 2014 and features several activities including Ballet Folklorico and a performance by the DNHS Band, directed by Jessica Todd at 7:30 pm. The event is free.
The refurbished Knight in the courtyard will be unveiled and tours of the new School will be given. There will also be a silent auction to benefit the yearly “Drawbridge to Success” Scholarship fund, supported by the Del Norte Alumni Association, the AlumKnights. Three scholarships were funded the first year and 4 have been awarded this year. Food, dancing and FUN from 5-9 pm June 27th, 2014. See Celebrate the Knight for more information.
