Did you have a garage sale and still have some items that didn’t sell? Do you have closets that need cleaning out? Want some more room in your garage? Sandia Band Boosters is hosting a Goodwill fundraiser and for every bin of donated items they collect the band receives $75 which goes directly to support the students. All donations receive a tax deductible receipt.
If you don’t have any items to donate, Sandia Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) and any cash donations are tax deductible.
The band will be collecting on the corner of Candelaria and Pennsylvania in the Senior parking lot.

What items should be placed in the bins?
We can accept the following: Clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, housewares, small appliances (toasters, blenders, mixers), toys, bicycles, sporting goods, tools, books, collectibles, antiques, holiday decorations, Halloween decor/costumes, household electronics, ink cartridges, computers and computer equipment/accessories.
What items cannot be accepted?
Goodwill is not able to accept food, firearms, ammunition, explosives (including fireworks), chemicals, hazardous materials or biohazards, mattresses, large appliances (ovens, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers), tube and projection televisions, tires, car seats, cribs and any other large equipment.
